Leveraging Research to Reimagine Medical Training

Because there is power in numbers.

We are a non-profit organization transforming research into policy to end the disproportionate dismissal of Black resident physicians.

Diagram of a leaky pipeline with statistics about Black residents and medical students. Only 8% of medical students are Black, while Black residents make up 20% of all dismissals, with pipes showing water leaks for each percentage.

Only 4% of the physician workforce is Black. We are losing Black doctors at every step.

    Our Why

What started as one physician’s experience became a call to action. Gislaine’s story revealed how easily Black residents can be pushed out of medicineβ€”and how urgently the system must change to better Black health .
